| Preetlari broadcasts five days a week, one hour every
day on AM 530 frequency. This frequency can be clearly
heard around the Greater Toronto Area and most parts
of Southern Ontario. The broadcast schedule is regular,
everyday from 10 AM to 11 AM and most of the programming
is presented in Punjabi. However, the issues addressed
are covered secularly in Hindi and English. |
Every day’s hourly broadcast brings a variety
of issues that are discussed in the talk shows. These
issues are social, ethnic, and political and from all
walks of life. The idea is to knit one good hour of quality
listening material that helps the audience learn and
enjoy at the same time.
Preetlari.COM is the first radio program which focuses
on the local affairs and provides extensive coverage
on things happening right within the GTA and Canada.
Complimenting its unique philosophy of radio programming,
Preetlari.COM has a very popular internet presence via
its web site. This web site is updated on daily bases
and has an extensive database of photos, audio and interesting
reading material. We feel jubilent in announcing that
in the month of July 2004 the traffic on our web site
has gone beyond 1 million hits, which evidents the affection
and loyalty of our listeners and web site visitors. This
count, ever since the inception of the web site, has
been consistently growing in the upward direction.
Preetlari.COM aims for a building a pleasant and relaxed
atmosphere of entertainment. Every participant of Preetlari.COM,
either the web site or the radio show shall have a long
lasting pleasant memory of the program, which is our
