Kajol recently showered praise on the OTT platforms for changing the game for many actors. The actress also took a sly dig at Bollywood’s obsession with physical appearances.

In an interview with a news portal, Kajol said that earlier it was easy for a film to be successful because back in the day cinema halls were the only medium of entertainment. However, the actress now feels that OTT has changed the game. Many fabulous actors are getting much-needed exposure and everybody has so much work.

Elaborating further, Kajol also added that you have people who are genuinely fabulous actors getting a stage and being able to show exactly what they are capable of, and becoming stars in their own right even though they don’t have a 24 inches waistline and a 36 inches chest or a 46 inches chest.

Kajol recently celebrated 25 glorious years of ‘Gupt’ which also starred Manisha Koirala and Bobby Deol in lead roles. A grand event was held in Mumbai to celebrate the silver jubilee of the film. It was attended by the lead actors and filmmaker Rajiv Rai.

On the work front, the actress will next be seen in Revathi’s upcoming film, ‘Salaam Venky’. It was earlier titled ‘The Last Hurrah’.
