One of the biggest artists in the world, Drake, is currently on tour in the USA.

The sold-out shows have been blessed with mesmerising entrances, striking stage decor, and the rapper performing a different finale song for every night.

He also takes time to interact with those in attendance, giving life advice, music updates, and acknowledging their outfits.

He made a special shoutout on August 26 at the Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle, Washington.

Going around the thousands in attendance, he seemingly spotted a man wearing a Sidhu Moose Wala t-shirt.

Pointing to the fan and speaking into the microphone, Drake bellowed:

“I see my boy wearing the t-shirt, rest in peace to Sidhu Moose Wala one time, my brother.”

The comments came flooding in on social media once the footage made the rounds on Instagram.

Raman Singh commented:

“What a man is he…really appreciate Drake for this.”

Saith Khalid also chimed in, saying:

“That’s why Sidhu is the legend of all legends.

“The biggest artist in the world is giving him respect on the world stage.”

Guru Bhatto added:

“Gotta respect Drake showing love to Sidhu Moose wala fair play bro.”

Although, some thought Drake’s small tribute was fake. One person said:

“Let’s be honest he’s just doing this for market engagement…he’s a pro at marketing himself to various audiences and market.”

In 2022 Drake formed a deep connection with the late Punjabi vocalist.

Demonstrating this bond, Drake paid a heartfelt tribute to Sidhu Moosewala during his concert in Canada, and it seems he’s not looking to end this tradition.

He donned a t-shirt bearing the image of the departed singer, a gesture that resonated not only with his own fans but also with Sidhu Moose Wala’s admirers worldwide.

Drake unveiled his plan to introduce t-shirts featuring Sidhu Moosewala on his official website.

The proceeds from the sales went directly to support Sidhu’s family.

In 2022, Drake shared a video on his Instagram account, showcasing visuals of Sidhu Moosewala along with his music playing in the background.

In the accompanying caption, Drake penned:

“Sidhu Moose Wala (1993-2022).

“We commemorate your life and influence in India, Canada, and beyond.

“May our friend and legend rest in peace.”
