Gangster Lawrence Bishnoi has issued a warning to Salman Khan, telling him to apologies or be “ready to face the consequences”.

He is currently in prison after he allegedly claimed responsibility for the murder of Sidhu Moose Wala.

From his prison cell, Bishnoi told Salman to apologies for his involvement in the blackbuck case.

Salman had allegedly hunted a blackbuck, a sacred animal in the Bishnoi community and also a protected species under the Wildlife Protection Act of 1972.

The actor shot the animal while shooting for his 1998 film Hum Saath Saath Hain.

After a case was filed by the Bishnoi community, he was sentenced to five years in prison. However, he was granted bail.

In an interview from prison, Lawrence Bishnoi said that the actor “humiliated” his community by killing the animal.

Warning Salman, the gangster said:

“There is anger in our society for Salman Khan. He humiliated my society.

“A case was filed against him but he did not apologies. If he does not tender an apology, be ready to face the consequences. I will not depend on anyone else.

“There is anger in my mind for him since childhood. Will break his ego sooner or later.

“He should come to our deity’s temple and apologise. If our society forgives, then I will not say anything.”

This is not the first time that Salman Khan has received threats.

In June 2022, a death threat had been sent to the actor and his father Salim Khan.

The note referenced Sidhu Moose Wala’s death, reading:

“You will suffer the same fate as Moose Wala.”

There were claims that the letter had been sent by Lawrence Bishnoi, however, he denied any involvement.
