Man convicted of killing ‘well-respected’ Wolverhampton taxi driver, 59, after dispute over fare

A man has been convicted of Killing a Wolverhampton taxi driver following an argument of his fare. Tomasz Margol, aged 36, launched a sickening attack on 59-year-old Anak Singh which included headbutting, punching and kicking him while he was on the floor.

The horrific assault happened after Mr Singh had picked up Margol before the two got into an argument over the method of payment for the journey. Mr Singh was found collapsed with serious injuries in Nine Elms Lane, Wolverhampton, on the morning in October 30. He tragically died at the scene.
