Mishi Khan heavily criticised Kangana Ranaut following the latter’s anti-Pakistan remark.

Controversy first arose when Javed Akhtar made anti-Pakistan sentiments while in the country during the 7th international Faiz festival.

Speaking about the 26/11 attacks in Mumbai, Javed said:

“We saw how Mumbai was attacked… They (the terrorists) are still roaming freely in your country.”

He also said that Pakistan never held any event for Lata Mangeshkar despite India organising big events for Pakistani artists Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan and Mehdi Hasan.

The remark sparked outrage, however, Kangana praised him.

She tweeted: “Whenever I listen to Javed Saab’s poetry, I feel like Goddess Saraswati has blessed him.

“But there must be some truth within a person for him to be blessed with divinity. Jai Hind.

“He spilt their truth in their land.”

Actress Mishi Khan responded to Kangana’s tweet and hit back in a video.
