Jazmen Jafar earns around £46,000 a month on OnlyFans but she could have been in a very different career.
She is in the top 0.01% of the platform’s creators.
But she started her career as a lawyer in California.
Jazmen was at law school when she first turned to OnlyFans for extra cash.
She explained: “OnlyFans started becoming a thing during the pandemic and I was still finishing up my degree in law school.
“Fast-forward to 2021, I’m studying for the bar exam [an examination all lawyers must take in order to practise law legally] and I’m like… ‘maybe I can just dabble in it make a little extra money. I mean, it’s probably not going to go anywhere and then after I take the bar exam and get a job I’ll just quit and it’ll be like it never happened’.”
But things did not all go to plan.
Jazmen continued: “I ended up enjoying it and it took off quicker than I had expected.
“I can’t keep a secret to save my life, so I just called my mum and said ‘I’m on OnlyFans!’ – she was shocked.”
But when it came to her father, Jazmen admitted that it was difficult as they were very close and she did not want to feel like she had let him down.
She explained: “I’m such a daddy’s girl, he’s my best friend. I knew he’d be really disappointed – and he was.”
Her father told her it was a “terrible decision” and both he and her mother struggled to accept that her law career was over.
