Since its release, huge crowds have packed into cinemas to watch the action-drama.

It has also been a massive success in the international market.

According to the producers, the number of shows had to be increased.

The producers have also said that the combination of Hamza Ali Abbasi, Fawad Khan, Humaima Malik and Mahira Khan drew in audiences.

Director Bilal Lashari stated that he wanted the story of The Legend Of Maula Jatt to be told to international audiences.

Previously, Fawad Khan spoke about the film. He said:

Maula Jatt always had a cult status in Pakistani media, and because of that, we’d obviously heard of it, and who had not heard of the dialogue.”

When Bilal approached Fawad, it was with the idea of a remake and that is when the actor watched the original.
