Yuvraj Singh recalls how Deepika left him for Ranbir Kapoor

Former Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh recalled how Deepika Padukone left him for Ranbir Kapoor.

When Deepika Padukone entered his life in 2008, the cricketer – who was known for being flirtatious with women – decided to commit to the actress.

However, Deepika allegedly became close to Ranbir Kapoor, which resulted in the relationship ending on bad terms.

Dating rumors first surfaced in 2008 about Deepika and Yuvraj. They first crossed paths after the T20 World Cup.

Deepika was riding high with the success of her debut film Om Shanti Om.

The couple bonded over their collective love for sports and quickly became good friends.  Soon enough, their friendship turned into love.

Deepika and Yuvraj frequently appeared together at social gatherings.

Deepika was a permanent spectator of Yuvraj’s cricket matches.

But the duo ended their relationship on a bitter note.

There were rumors that Deepika and Yuvraj broke up because she thought he was possessive.

Deepika previously claimed that Yuvraj would meddle in her career during a media appearance.

Yuvraj, on the other hand, had a different account and disclosed that Deepika had grown apart from him and had found happiness in Ranbir Kapoor.

Speaking about it, Yuvraj revealed that while Deepika was dating him, she ultimately chose to move on with a different man.

Yuvraj had said: “Well, she was with me and now she’s moved on with another person.

“I guess it’s her personal choice.
